Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2012
Greetings Friends,
This week’s wine review is a New Zealand wine, from Brancott Estate, Sauvignon Blanc vintage 2012. For you grapefruit lovers out there this wine will not disappoint. The clear color, the potent grapefruit bouquet, and the crisp finish are all something to energetically anticipate. While you cannot mistake the taste/smell of the grapefruit its tartness does not overwhelm the wine. Now I am not a grapefruit fan personally, however I really like this wine. I enjoy dry wines, especially reds, and what I loved most about Brancott Sauvignon Blanc was that I could taste citrus fruits and peaches. Imagine, if you could, eating a fruit minus the natural sugar. This is what this wine is and yet it finishes clean and crisp. I can’t stress enough how the tartness doesn't overwhelm. You will want to chill this wine for sure. Lastly, I found this wine best suited for hot summer days, especially for you ladies out there who enjoy sitting poolside chatting with close friends. Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc wine will be the cherry on top to a great day with fabulous friends.
