Gin Cocktail

June 8, 2013
For the past weeks I have written about nothing but wine and I know not everyone enjoys wine. So for this week I decided to break out of my comfortable mold, a little bit, and try something new and different.

Prosecco wine with paired with your favored spirit (mine is Gin) takes the place of tonic and seltzer water and club soda very nicely. Firstly by substituting the Prosecco for it you are not watering down your drink. Secondly the Prosecco gives it a subtle sweet flavor that enhances the taste and smooths it out. the bubbles are fun and are slightly more intense. So for those who want to try something different but don't want to go too crazy you will like this. More professional and it happens to be hte new thing bartenders are doing down in NYC and the likes. Remember Prosecco is made from grapes and so is gluten free.
